How to Make Sure Guests are Well Catered for at Your Next Event

  • Written by NewsServices.com

Water is essential for life, and that means it's essential for your events too! Here are some tips on how to make sure your guests stay hydrated and happy at your next function.

  1. Make sure you have enough water dispensers for the number of guests that you're expecting - a good rule of thumb is one dispenser per 50 people.

  2. Place water dispensers in strategic locations around the event space so that they're easy for guests to find.

  3. Make sure the water dispensers are clean and in good working order - nothing will put your guests off faster than a grubby water dispenser!

  4. Label the water dispensers clearly so guests know what they contain. If you have multiple types of beverages on offer, including alcoholic drinks, this is particularly important.

  5. Encourage guests to drink water throughout the event by placing signs near the dispenser machines or even distributing small bottles of water at the start of the event.

  6. And finally, don't forget to refill the water dispensers regularly throughout the event! No one likes a tepid drink, so make sure the water is always fresh and cold.

Possible alternatives to water dispensers

Another option is to provide each guest with their own water bottle that they can take it with them as they move around the event space. This is a great option if you don’t want to have water dispensers set up or if you want to provide your guests with a little something extra. You can either purchase water bottles in bulk or have them personalised with your event’s logo or theme (which is a nice touch for ensuring your brand stays front-of-mind long after the guests have left the event).

You could also decide to have waitstaff circulating throughout the event space with trays of water glasses for guests. This is a good option if you have a large event or if you want to make sure everyone has access to water without having to get up and get it themselves. Just be sure to have enough staff on hand so that no one goes thirsty!
