Stone Real Estate continues Queensland expansion with Golden Beach office

Seaside Real Estate in the Sunshine Coast suburb of Golden Beach has rebadged under the Stone Real Estate Banner

Stone Real Estate is continuing to prove itself as Australia’s fastest-growing real estate franchise, with a new office opening this week at Golden Beach on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Formerly Seaside Real Estate, the Golden Beach office has been owned and run by Dallas Hunter for the past five years. Now Director and Principal for Stone Real Estate Golden Beach, Hunter has over 45 years of experience in the property industry.

Hunter has now spent 20 years working in property development, having managed a large property portfolio of commercial, industrial, residential and development properties. Over his career to date, he has overseen over half a billion dollars’ worth of commercial and industrial property.

“For us, joining the Stone family simply made sense as a business decision. We want to be competing better in the market, and we want to be more attractive to new agents. Rebranding to Stone Real Estate will allow us to do both of these things,” Hunter said.

“In addition, Stone’s focus on growth and technology is something that aligns with our values closely. We’ll now be part of a growing and dynamic real estate brand that will bring better support structures for staff and management, as well as allowing us to implement more effective systems for marketing our services.”

Despite a slowing property market, interstate and intrastate migration is keeping property demand strong and is likely to underpin the market in coming years, Hunter explained.

“The southern Sunshine Coast is a strong and rapidly developing real estate region. We’ve had around a 33% growth in prices in the last 12 months. The population is growing and demographics are changing, and it was time to reinvigorate our profile to meet the evolving needs of the market we serve,” he added

The Golden Beach office now takes Stone’s tally of locations in Queensland to six. Stone Real Estate Queensland Founding Partner Scott Kelly said: “We are privileged to have successful business owners like Dallas Hunter becoming part of the Stone story.

“It’s great to be recognised by experienced real estate professionals like Dallas, who saw what we were able to offer his established office and hardworking agents on the Sunshine Coast.”

Stone Real Estate Head Of Franchise, Luke Cameron, said the growth of the brand in Queensland recently has been a particular focus. “Stone Real Estate continues to be synonymous with high performance and success, and we’ll keep working with well-established real estate businesses to help them undergo the brand refresh they desire.

“Dallas Hunter has built an enviable business and client list, and we look forward to helping Stone Real Estate Golden Beach to go new heights for its clients in 2022 and beyond.”
