Tiny Away Unveils Six New Tiny Houses

  • Written by James Cooley

Tiny Away, the ecotourism tiny house company that’s all about experiencing nature in comfort, has added six new tiny houses to its portfolio of rural getaways.

The three new NSW tiny houses span the Hawkesbury, Orange and Shoalhaven, and are set on rural sites ranging from a permaculture farm to a hot air ballooning launch field.

In Victoria, the three new tiny houses are in Mornington Peninsula, Philip Island and Latrobe Valley, with the houses pitched against backdrops that include the Strzelecki Ranges, secluded farm tracks and Western Port Bay.

Tiny Away now has over 70 unique short-stay tiny house accommodation options, many within a stone’s throw of Sydney and Melbourne. Its tiny architecturally designed houses are set on private land in rural and regional locations and are designed to get visitors out of the city and into the outdoors.

“Tiny Away tiny houses allow guests to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying comfortable accommodation. It’s all about leaving the worries of the daily grind behind and really connecting with the natural surrounds. These six new properties will offer our guests exactly that, and a chance to explore more amazing regions across Australia,” says Jeff Yeo, co-founder of Tiny Away.

About Tiny Away

Founded in 2018, the Tiny Away network includes a range of comfy eco-friendly ‘tiny houses’ for travellers seeking alternative and unique accommodation experiences.

Having already grown to over 70 private locations across New South Wales and Victoria, Tiny Away offers adventurous road-trippers and weekenders the chance to immerse themselves in Australia’s vast flora and fauna, without compromising on comfort. A step up from glamping, each tiny house offers hot showers, air conditioning, a cosy queen bed, and a kitchenette.

Using a profit-sharing arrangement that sees landowners earning up to 45% of rental revenue, Tiny Away considers itself a partner with landowner hosts on a mission to create rare and exceptional accommodation experiences.

The sustainably built tiny houses are typically positioned on a working farm, often totally off-grid, and hosts offer all sorts of unique activities (horse riding, farm experiences, etc.) that give guests a taste of rural life.
